How Fitted uses AI

We think you should know exactly what happens with your data when you use Fitted. No fine print, no surprises. Here's the full picture.

What happens when you use Fitted

1

You upload your resume

Your resume is stored securely in Supabase, which runs on AWS infrastructure in the United States. Only you can access your files. We don't share them with anyone.

2

You paste a job description

We send your resume text and the job description to Anthropic's Claude AI for analysis. We strip out your name, email, and contact details before sending anything to the AI. The AI only sees the content it needs to do its job.

3

You get results

The AI analyzes how well your experience matches the role and generates suggestions: a tailored resume, a match score, cover letter, interview prep questions, and a reading level analysis. You can export your tailored resume as DOCX and share your results. You decide what to use, what to edit, and what to throw away.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell your data. Not to recruiters, not to advertisers, not to anyone.
  • We don't train AI models on your resume. Your content is processed, not used for training. Our agreement with Anthropic ensures this.
  • We don't share your information with employers. Fitted is a tool for you. We have no connection to any employer or job board.
  • We don't keep your data longer than you want. Delete your account from your settings page and everything goes with it.

AI is a tool, not a replacement

Everything Fitted generates is a starting point. The AI can miss context, misread a requirement, or suggest wording that doesn't sound like you. Always review the output before you send it to an employer.

You know your experience better than any model does. Use the suggestions as a draft, then make them yours.
